Sun Life moves into new offices

Sun Life Financial International has moved office.

The company has transferred its operations from Victoria Street in Hamilton to the nearby Washington House.

Niall O'Hare, Sun Life Financial International vice-president and chief financial officer, said the new offices, above the Washington Mall on Church Street, was designed to be green and in also in line with its corporate interior design philosophy of flexible workspaces and shared areas.

He added: “Our new workplace offers our team a bright, sunny space that is conducive to the transparent, positive environment that we strive to achieve for our employees.

“We are excited to be in a modern, environmentally friendly office that remains centrally located in Hamilton's business centre.”

Sun Life worked with the building's owners to use as much of the existing furniture and equipment as possible to cut down on waste.

In addition, the company donated more than 60 pieces of office furniture to Bermuda College, Atlantic Vision Care, the Family Learning Centre, Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda and TN Tatem Middle School.
