Everest recruits three for cyber unit

Everest Specialty Underwriters Financial Lines group has added three cyberliability team members.

Raphael DaCosta, Melissa Bell, and Jenna Belous have joined the team which is led by Kevin Sherry, vice-president and cyber practice leader.

The cyber unit was launched in March to create primary cyber policy across all industries. It works closely with cybermodeling firms, cybersecurity firms and incident response vendors.

Mr DaCosta joins Everest as a manager, responsible for middle market and national accounts predominantly in the Northeast and Midwest regions. He previously worked for Zurich.

Ms Bell has joined as associate manager, and will be handling middle market and national accounts in the South and West Coast Regions. She was previously with Arch Insurance Group, where she was an underwriter in cyber and E&O.

Ms Belous has also been hired as associate manager, responsible for middle market and national accounts in the Northeast Region. She was previously with Liberty Mutual.

Everest Specialty Underwriters Financial Lines group is part of Bermudian-based Everest Re Group Ltd.
