Heinicke is head of casualty at WTW

Chris Heinicke has been appointed head of casualty in Bermuda by Willis Towers Watson, the global advisory, broking and solutions company.

He will report to head of the Bermuda office Kirsten Beasley.

Mr Heinicke joins Willis Towers Watson from Aon Bermuda, where he served as the managing director and team leader, overseeing the casualty broking unit.

In his new role, the company said, Mr Heinicke will be responsible for leading the Bermuda casualty team, giving clients access to the global marketplace as part of its global markets direct and facultative line of business, including all aspects of client service, development of market-leading risk solutions, product development and new business growth.

Ms Beasley said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris Heinicke to the Willis Towers Watson team.

“Chris brings over 25 years of extensive industry experience and his appointment demonstrates our commitment to a solution-oriented and innovative approach.

“Chris is a well-respected leader, and he has the experience and vision to lead our globally connected Bermuda casualty team.”

Mr Heinicke added: “I am very excited to be joining the team and WTW as they continue to grow their property and casualty operations in Bermuda and worldwide.

“The market here in Bermuda has seen a dramatic increase in the number of companies over the last few years, and I am looking forward to helping our clients navigate these new offerings to help drive the best solutions for their insurance needs."
