Bermudian-based Conduit Holdings Limited has appointed Antonio Moretti as head of investor relations and marketing with immediate effect.

Trevor Carvey, group chief executive officer, said: "As Conduit strengthens its position in an attractive reinsurance market, I am delighted to welcome Antonio to the team.

“We will draw from his extensive experience on the financial and operational side of the business to enrich the delivery of our communication with financial markets.”

Mr Moretti has more than 20 years' reinsurance experience gained with GE Insurance Solutions, Swiss Re and SCOR, Conduit said.

A dual Italian-British national with a first-class degree in statistics and econometrics and an MBA from HEC Paris, his career has spanned P&C pricing, finance, business development and marketing, with leading roles across these functions.
