Crisis consultants retained in support of new cover

Property, commercial and speciality re/insurer IQUW, which has a presence in Bermuda, has appointed RQA Group to be its retained crisis consultants globally for its recently launched specialty product recall cover.

The company said that RQA Group will provide 24/7 incident support and pre-incident risk management services to IQUW’s product recall policyholders.

RQA will also provide risk engineering services and claims support to IQUW’s crisis management team.

Jon Atkinson, lead underwriter, crisis management, at IQUW, said: “We are very pleased to be working with RQA Group as they offer best-in-class product recall and crisis consultancy services which will benefit both IQUW and our insureds.

“RQA are experts in their field and will add further value for our brokers and their clients by harnessing product recall data to help monitor risk types and trends. In addition, we will collaborate on model creation and optimisation to provide greater insights to our brokers.”

Mr Atkinson added: “What’s more, IQUW will incentivise clients to collaborate with RQA to assist them with their transition to more ESG-considerate manufacturing practices, helping to create greener, more sustainable practices among our clients.”
