New appointment at MSL Captive Solutions

MSL Captive Solutions has appointed Meredith Watson as assistant vice-president and lead underwriter.

MSL is an independent, specialist underwriting and consulting services firm formed by Strategic Risk Solutions two years ago to focus on the use of captives in medical stop loss programmes.

The company has representation in Bermuda and all other major US captive domiciles.

Ms Watson has extensive stop loss underwriting experience with both carriers and managing general underwriters.

She said: “Captives are a growing sector of the stop loss market, and I am looking forward to being part of the initiatives MSL Captives has under way and working with our carrier and programme manager partners.”

Phillip Giles, managing director of MSL Captive Solutions commented: “The addition of Meredith’s deep experience and expertise reinforces our underwriting agility and leadership positioning within this highly dynamic and rapidly expanding market segment.”
