ILS expansion: TigerRisk is innovating across product lines

Risk, capital and strategic adviser to the (re)insurance industry, TigerRisk Partners LLC, has appointed Mitchell Rosenberg as partner and managing director of its investment banking division, TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory.

Mr Rosenberg will report to Philipp Kusche, global head of ILS & Capital Solutions.

The former managing director of Aon Securities, he was responsible for several of the industry’s leading ILS platforms across the reinsurance, insurance, commercial and public sectors.

Prior to that, he advised global insurance companies on structured reinsurance solutions to support M&A, capital management and other strategic transactions as assistant vice-president for Swiss Re.

Mr Kusche said: “Mitchell will help drive Tiger’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our clients, and especially continuing the build out of TCMA’s ILS platform focused on catastrophe bonds and other ILS and capital market products.”

Founded in 2015, TCMA is one of the premier insurance-focused investment banking groups in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

“The (re)insurance industry is at a crossroads, paving the way for substantial future growth from the ILS market,” said Mr Rosenberg.

“TigerRisk’s relentless focus on delivering client value, providing capital-agnostic solutions and innovating across product lines positions them to drive this growth – and I’m excited to help lead this effort.”
