Richard P Quinn has joined Convex Insurance as an underwriter of US property reinsurance.

Mr Quinn joins Convex after more than four years at Axis Capital, where he most recently held the post of assistant underwriter, property reinsurance.

Before that, he was a catastrophe modelling analyst at Axis.

Mr Quinn previously worked as an actuarial assistant at Tokio Millennium Re AG, and before that was a summer intern at Chubb.
