Matthew Carr, an insurance partner within Appleby, will participate in an ESG “fireside chat” session next Monday at the 2022 Bermuda Captive Conference. Appleby is a gold sponsor of the event.

The firm said Mr Carr has experience in a wide array of insurance and reinsurance matters involving captives, catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, and long-term and general business commercial re/insurers.

He is a member of the Bermuda Business Development Agency’s captive insurance committee.

The three-day conference, now in its 18th year, returns as a hybrid event at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club.

It is the largest and longest-running industry event in Bermuda, attracting more than 800 delegates, with half from overseas, to examine trends in the global captive market.
