Everest makes leadership appointments

Everest Reinsurance: has made appointments to two key leadership roles in its international division

Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Bermudian-based Everest Re Group, has made appointments to two key leadership roles in its international division.

Harald Jacobsen has been appointed senior vice-president, head of Continental Europe, and pending regulatory approval, he will also assume the role of branch manager, Zurich of Everest Reinsurance Company Ireland dac.

He will be based in Zurich and report to Artur Klinger, head of International Reinsurance.

Mark Wallace has been appointed vice-president, head of longtail and deputy CUO, reporting to Paul Tester, head of UK branch and chief underwriting officer.

“Harald and Mark have been instrumental in expanding our portfolio, capabilities and offerings in the UK and Continental Europe,” said Jim Williamson, Everest Group COO and head of Reinsurance.

“Both are seasoned leaders with deep local market expertise and relationships who will continue to bring the highest standards of service and support our partners’ unique and evolving needs in today’s global market.”
