Paul Gatutha joins SRS Bermuda

Strategic Risk Solutions, the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, has announced that Paul Gatutha has joined SRS Bermuda as a director in its Hamilton office.

The company said Mr Gatutha will be a key member of the Bermuda leadership team and will be responsible for a broad portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients.

Jonathan Reiss, the chairman of SRS Bermuda, said: “I have known Paul for nearly 20 years and am delighted to have him join our growing team.

“Paul is a recognised leader in the insurance management sector who brings to SRS deep expertise across captives and commercial insurance and reinsurance ventures as well as across both the life and property & casualty industries.

“His knowledge and client-first mentality will fit in well at SRS.”

The company said Mr Gatutha has more than 20 years of experience in insurance management.

Before joining SRS, he served as a senior vice-president of Marsh Management Services.

Mr Gatutha is a chartered accountant and has previously held both the chartered financial analyst and chartered property & casualty underwriter designations.

He said: “I was attracted to SRS’s culture of dedication to client service as well as its diverse clientele. I am pleased to have this opportunity in a dynamic and growing business.”
