Marlin Ramlal joins MS Reinsurance

MS Reinsurance, the global reinsurer, has appointed Marlin Ramlal as senior underwriter, property.

Based in Bermuda, Ms Ramlal will join MS Reinsurance on Monday and will report to Andrew Shaw, lead underwriter, property.

With more than 17 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance markets, she joins from Axis Reinsurance.

At Axis Re, Ms Ramlal spent a decade underwriting across a number of property & casualty teams in the United States and Bermuda and most recently held the role of senior property underwriter, global property in Bermuda.

Prior to this, she spent eight years at RPS, an MGA subsidiary of AJ Gallagher, where she was responsible for underwriting E&S coverage including commercial liability, property and professional liability.
