BF&M Limited has launched the BF&M Postgraduate John Wight Scholarship, in honour of former chairman and CEO, John Wight.

Abigail Clifford, group president and CEO said: “At BF&M, we believe that everyone should have access to higher education. Given the value John placed on community and education, it was fitting to create our first BF&M scholarship for Bermuda in his honour."

Mr Wight was grateful to be given such a thoughtful retirement gift, one which he said would have a lasting impact in the community.

He added: “Education is very important to me and I look forward to meeting with the scholarship recipient.”

The deadline to apply is April 30 and the company encouraged applicants to visit bermudascholarships.com.
