Veteran insurance executive Kirsten Beasley has been appointed to the board of directors of Coralisle Group Ltd.

Ms Beasley, who is head of office at Willis Towers Watson, brings to CG an outstanding record of business success and community service, the company said.

“We are really pleased Kirsten has joined the CG board,” group chairman Grant Gibbons said.

“She is a dynamic personality whose industry knowledge, business expertise and social purpose will help us to continue serving our clients’ needs as CG moves forward.”

At Willis Towers, Ms Beasley serves as the geographic leader for WTW and oversees its insurance broking operations in all insurance product lines.

Prior to joining Willis Towers in 2016 as senior vice-president, she worked for 14 years at Allied World Assurance Company, Bermuda, during which she served three years as chief operations officer, and heading its North American healthcare underwriting practice.

Ms Beasley also worked three years at Marsh from 1999 until 2002.

“I am thrilled to join CG’s board,” Ms Beasley said. “CG’s commitment to Bermuda and our community coupled with its board-level accountability for driving forward diversity, equity and inclusion closely align to my personal values and priorities.

“I see this appointment as a unique opportunity to utilise both my insurance and healthcare background to add value to a growing organisation at an exciting time in their evolution.”

Ms Beasley is a board member of the Association of Bermuda International Companies, previously chairing its diversity, equity and inclusion sub-committee.

She is a cofounder and deputy chairwoman of WeSpeak Bermuda, whose mission is to support women’s professional growth through development of presentation and speaking skills.

Ms Beasley also sits on the Bermuda Health Council and the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.

As a member of Bermuda First, she serves on the steering committee for the development of Bermuda’s universal healthcare strategy and is leading the work group responsible for the development of Bermuda’s national digital health strategy.

Ms Beasley earned a bachelor of arts degree at McGill University in Montreal and in 2020 a master of science degree in global ehealth from the University of Edinburgh.
