BMS Group appoints Andras Bohm to top post
BMS Group, the independent specialist re/insurance broker with an operation on the island, has appointed Andras Bohm as head of its US Capital Advisory business and chief executive of BMS Capital Advisory Inc, the organisation’s US broker-dealer.
The appointments are subject to regulatory approvals.
BMS said Mr Bohm would be responsible for leading the investment banking and legacy solutions team in New York, working closely with his counterparts, James Ferris in Bermuda and Chris Harding in the UK.
Pete Chandler, the chief executive of BMS Re, said: “Andras has an impressive track record, which speaks for itself and brings a wealth of capital-solution experience spanning across insurance, reinsurance and more.
“As the incoming CEO of BMS Capital Advisory Inc, he will play a crucial role in helping us to continue delivering industry-leading bespoke solutions for clients and drive forward our expansion strategy.”
Mr Bohm joins BMS Group from Swiss Re Capital Markets, where he served as head of structuring for the Americas.
