Everest appoints Patrick Hagerty

Everest Insurance, a division of Bermudian-based Everest Group Ltd, has appointed Patrick Hagerty as senior vice president and head of US retail property.

Mr Hagerty is based in New York and reports to Mike Mulray, president, Everest Insurance North America.

He will be responsible for all aspects of Everest’s retail, middle market and builder’s risk businesses.

Mr Mulray said: “Everest continues to invest in best-in-class underwriting talent and service to meet the evolving needs of the US property market.

“Patrick has been instrumental in leading our team and growing our capabilities in this priority business and we are fortunate to have him at the helm.

“With his deep technical property experience and strong leadership skills, I am confident that Patrick will continue to elevate our offering and drive the portfolio’s strong performance for the long-term.”
