Axis appoints David Shluger

Axis Capital has appointed David Shluger as head of cyber-risk advisory.

The Bermudian-based global specialty underwriter said Mr Shluger will oversee an ambitious strategy to elevate its programme of cyber-risk advisory products and services to help its partners, customers, and colleagues to build greater awareness and preparedness around present and emerging cyber-risks.

He reports to head of global cyber and technology Lori Bailey, who said: “I’m delighted David has taken on this pivotal role as we realise the significant opportunity to deliver standout risk advisory and engineering products and services to our partners and customers.”

Mr Shluger joins from Zurich Insurance, where he most recently served as vice-president, cybersecurity services, Zurich Resilience Solutions.
