Bermudian-based Axis Capital Holdings Ltd has promoted Conrad Brooks to chief administrative and legal officer and G Christina Gray-Trefry to the post of general counsel.

In Mr Brooks’s expanded role, the company said, he will oversee human resources, in addition to his current oversight of internal audit, data privacy, legal/compliance, and marketing and communication units – as well as the company’s corporate citizenship initiatives.

A company spokesman said: “Conrad, who has been with Axis for more than 17 years, including seven as general counsel, is a trusted counsellor and leader who embodies our values.”

Ms Gray-Trefry will succeed Mr Brooks in the general counsel role and guide day-to-day running of the legal/compliance unit.

She will continue to serve as corporate secretary and oversee the corporate legal and corporate secretary team.
