New roles for Nina Corbo and Debbie Weiser at Everest

Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Everest Group, Ltd, has announced two key leadership appointments to the firm’s American casualty business.

Nina Corbo is the new head of US primary casualty, where she will oversee the risk management and commercial casualty segments.

With nearly two decades of experience, Ms Corbo was most recently head of risk management for Everest’s North America insurance team. Prior to joining Everest, she served as head of corporate accounts, primary casualty for AIG and has held a variety of casualty and risk management leadership positions with Axa XL and Ace.

Meanwhile, Debbie Weiser is the new head of US excess casualty, where she will lead national accounts and middle market excess casualty segments.

Everest said she was a seasoned industry veteran with deep expertise. She joined the company in 2017 and her appointment follows her previous position as head of excess casualty for North America Insurance.

Ms Corbo and Ms Weiser will report to Bill Hazelton, executive vice-president of Everest Insurance and president of North America Insurance.
