Jennifer Masters has been promoted to managing director, international operations leader at Brown & Brown Bermuda and remains the Bermuda captive leader, the company said today.

In addition, Abigail Perrin has been promoted to assistant vice-president at the international insurance brokerage and captive management firm on Church Street.

Ms Masters just broadened her role at the start of the year, after being with the company since 2022, when she joined as senior vice-president and Bermuda captive leader.

Her LinkedIn page notes she was included in Captive International’s Influential Women in Captive Insurance list for 2024 and recognised in FORTY under 40 by Captive International in June 2023. She was also recognised as One to Watch by Captive Review in May 2021.

Meanwhile, Ms Perrin reacted excitedly to her promotion by writing on her LinkedIn page: “Thankful for the support, mentorship, and collaboration that pushed me forward. Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to continued growth and new challenges ahead.”

She had been with Aon and Validus Re before joining Brown and Brown as an associate broker in 2022.
