Adventist minister to speak on family life

The Rockaway Seventh-day Adventist church is excited to be sharing the ministry of John Lomacong in their Amazing Family Life series, which will run from Wednesday, March 12, through to Saturday, March 15.

Pastor Lomacong is an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist church with 20 years of pastoral experience.

He is also a professional Christian solo artist, and sang with the Heritage Singers from 1984 to 2003.

He has travelled extensively, visiting 40 US states and more than 31 countries, and is also the host of the programme, "House Calls" on the Three Angels Broadcasting Network and director of Sharper Focus Ministries (www.sfm7.com).

Pastor Lomacong is also the author of the book, "Abandoned, But Not Alone," an autobiography that details his life, growing up without his parents, and his eventual reuniting with his mother.

The Amazing Family Life series will focus on family life and relationships, with services nightly at 7 p.m. from March 12 through to March 14 at Rockaway Seventh-day Adventist Church, which meets at Mt. Zion AME in Whale Bay, Southampton.

Pastor Lomacong will also be sharing during the Sabbath service on March 15 at 11 a.m.

To conclude the series, Pastor Lomacong will be performing in concert at the Bermuda Institute auditorium on Saturday, March 15 at 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children aged five to twelve years.
