Clothes, shoes at free Somerset school drive

Today

New Testament Church of God in Somerset will host a free school drive today from 9am until 3pm by offering children’s clothes and shoes to local families. Stop by to the church’s healing centre located at 84 Somerset Road, Sandys. For more information call 234-2427.

Centenary United Methodist Church, located on Collectors Hill, South Road in Smith’s, will host a flea market today and tomorrow from 9.30am until 3pm. Lunch, including fishcakes on a bun, sandwiches, a fruit cup and a drink, will also be served at noon. The cost is $5 to $7. Baked goods will also be on offer.

Tomorrow

The Allen Temple Church will host a Family Cruise next Sunday from 5pm -8pm. Guests will board the MV Destiny for an evening of fun and fellowship. The guest DJ will be Kelly Zuill; a meal is also included in the $45 ticket price. For more information call 234-0433.

Next Friday (September 4)

Saturday, September 12

Women Aglow International will host its next Fellowship Worship Service on Saturday, September 12 at 9.45am. Pastor Yvonne Ramsay of Breath of Life Ministries in Somerset will be the speaker. The theme for the upcoming event is “Expectation” — based on the passage of scripture “For our expectation is from the Lord” (Psalm 62:5b).
