Wise words: minister Eugenia Robinson helps people who are looking for clarity in their lives and how they can achieve their goals (Photograph supplied).

Minister Eugenia Robinson wants to help believers achieve their goals and walk in their divine purpose with godly goal setting. Ms Robinson, who is an educator by profession, is an ordained five-fold minister with Christian International and the head intercessor at First Church of God Angle Street. Ms Robinson is also the founder of Restoration House Ministries International, a separate ministry which she launched in 1999. Restoration House Ministries International was founded with the mission to help to restore hearts and minds of those in need. Ms Robinson’s team is made up almost entirely of volunteers who assist her in providing tangible opportunities for those in need of inspiration, education, development and motivation. Having been raised in the church, Ms Robinson left the faith at age 18 and did not return for almost two decades. Amid several tests and trials, she found her way back to her Christian foundation and reconnected with the God of her youth. After experiencing her own process of restoration, Ms Robinson was called to share the message that God restores with others who may have been going through similar trials. “God cleaned me up and restored my life in order to propel me forward,” Ms Robinson said. “It didn’t happen overnight; it took some time. But He loved me through the restoration process.”This journey of restoration has helped Ms Robinson to identify what God’s plans are for her life and how to trust Him through the process. “When I came back in the faith my life was not all together,” she said. “I had just been through a lot. So, when I came back my life had to be restored. My health. My emotions. My social abilities. It all needed to be restored.” Through Restoration House Ministries, Ms Robinson assists people who are seeking clarity on their divine purpose and how to achieve their goals in Christ. One of the programmes she offers is the Restorative Vision Boarding Experience. These events are curated specifically to assist people who want to awaken lost dreams.“I had been introduced to the Law of Attraction and as a godly person I decided to research scriptures that supported it.“Their focus is different from my focus, but searching the scriptures helped to confirm that God will lead me to achieve my goals.”“Any idea that I have actually comes from God and it is part of Him developing my purpose. I believe that God has given me a formula to help individuals to identify what their purpose is and to start working on it one thing at a time.”Ms Robinson has created a curriculum to help people to focus on their goals in a godly fashion. She shares three tips for goal setting that she teaches in her vision boarding classes. “First you have to ask God to confirm your vision,” she said. “Ask for permission to proceed. You always want to remain under His will.“Second, you must listen for confirmation. Learn how to hear God’s voice. He gave us a guideline with the Bible, so spend time in it. “But there are also other ways in which God speaks. Be open to hearing Him through other experiences.“Next you must act. The word tells us to study to show ourselves approved. Research. Collaborate. Create your plan. But you must act on the vision God has given you. Revelation 21:8 speaks about the cowardly and unbelieving. You must not be cowardly when fulfilling God’s plan for your life.”Ms Robinson shared some of her go-to Bible verses that have assisted her and her clients in godly goal setting. Matthew 7:7-12 — Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.Ephesians 4:1 — As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. She encourages anyone who is working towards any goal to keep the promises of God close to their heart as motivation and wisdom for the journey forward. “God has given us promises and instructions,” Ms Robinson said. “He will make good on His word, but we must be obedient to His calling.”Restoration House Ministries will continue to offer support to those who are seeking to fulfil God’s purpose in their life in 2020 and beyond. On January 13, Restoration House Ministries will launch a five-week Bible-based course to assist people in developing their spiritual gifts by studying the lives of biblical prophets. Also, on January 21, Ms Robinson will launch “The Prayer Closet”, which is an online membership programme designed to help believers feel more empowered in their prayer life. The next Restorative Vision Board Experience is scheduled for February 4, and will help individuals to focus on creating and executing their godly goals. •For more information on Restoration House Ministries International or any of these upcoming programmes e-mail contact@eugenialrobinson.com or call 536-2725
