Turks first for Bermuda

Bermuda men’s rugby team will take on the Turks and Caicos Islands and Bahamas in March in the North Zone Cup League of the North American and Caribbean Rugby Association Championship.

Relegated to the second tier of the competition last year, Bermuda had been facing three games in their league before a potential promotion/relegation play-off against the bottom side in the North Championship League.

However, Jamaica have withdrawn from the competition because of financial difficulties, leaving Bermuda to play Turks and Caicos at home on March 7, and Bahamas away on March 21.

Should the team finish top of their league, they would then likely face either Mexico or Cayman Islands in a play-off.
