Bermuda’s female rugby players unveiled their new national team kit on Monday as they prepare to depart the island for a return to international competition.

After nearly three years away from the rugby pitch, the team are heading to Mexico this week to compete in the RAN Super Sevens, which acts as a qualifying tournament for the Centro Caribe Games in 2023.

The squad will feature returning international players Corrie Cross [captain], Gillian Cross, Lysmeiri Santana Suazo, Camille Chin-Gurret, Cerise Woodley and Kelli Nusum, alongside international debutants Nisaiah Berkeley, Bella Greene, Sarah Cross, Heidi Groves, Nkechi Oyemhen and Andrea Ottley, who will make their first appearance for Bermuda.

The tournament takes place from Friday to Sunday and Bermuda will face Mexico, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
