Man City youth coach to attend North Village symposium

Defending Premier Division champions North Village will be holding a football symposium tonight featuring Manchester City’s youth academy coach Darren Dowling.

Also speaking at the event are Jose Goncalves from the Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol, Joe Bradley of the Mass Premier Soccer, Ciarran Mcardle of XL Travel and Danielle Riviere of the Centre on Philanthropy.

Entitled ‘Charting Your Football Club’s Future’, the symposium will see guest speakers deliver information on how to develop a club both on and off the pitch. Village president Shervin Dill said:

“We at the North Village Community Club are excited to present this symposium to the local football fraternity. It is our feeling that this is an excellent opportunity for us all to learn and move forward collectively.”

Last season saw Village, coached by former Man City striker Shaun Goater, qualify for the CFU Club Championships after winning the Premier Division title.

The free symposium will take place tonight at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute from 7-9pm.
