Senior School Over-16 FinalCedarBridge Academy 1Saltus Grammar School 0Cedarbridge retained the Over-16 title after defeating a determined and tough Saltus outfit.Tarreko Wilson scored the only goal of the game early in the second half when he was the first to react to a loose ball following a corner.Wilson headed the ball into an empty net and then had an MVP performance as sweeper in thwarting the advances of the Saltus team led by midfield live wire and MVP Fabio Pacheco.Senior School Under-16 FinalCedarBridge Academy 2Berkeley Institute 3Berkeley defeated CedarBridge Academy in an entertaining five-goal affair.Berkeley took the lead when Anwar Lekki used his speed to outrun the CedarBridge defence and slot the ball past the CedarBridge ‘keeper.Nacori Smith wanted to prove he was no slouch either as he doubled the lead in the second-half after an impressive run.Berkeley seemed to be cruising to victory after Omari Curtis scored a third from the penalty spot but CedarBridge came roaring back and got two goals from MVP Machai Battersbee and Nahjee Smith.Their comeback ran out of time, however, and Berkeley held on to the victory.Uzziah Bell was named MVP for Berkeley.Senior School Girls FinalCedarBridge Academy 1 (2)Berkeley Institute 1 (3)Berkeley equalised through MVP Aaliyah Nolan as they went on to win a penalty shoot-outJalen Bean had given CedarBridge an early lead which saw Berkeley push forward only to come against a tough defence.Nolan eventually found the net for Berkeley after going clear on goal.Leanna Hall was selected as MVP for CedarBridge.Middle School Over-13 FinalSaltus Grammar School 0Whitney Institute 5Whitney Institute ran out deserved champions after routing Saltus in the Over-13 final.Goals came from MVP Jomei Bean Lindo, Shawn Stevens, Jahzardae Samuels, Ayinde Desilva and Jaizel Smith Deshields.Dylan Powell was rewarded for his efforts and named Saltus MVP.Middle School Under-13 FinalSandys Secondary Middle School 1Clearwater Middle School 2Clearwater got two first-half goals from Aaron Burgees and Tah-ki Tucker on their way to lifting the title.Sandys pressed forward and eventually closed the gap, scoring through the hard working Tahzeiko Harris.MVPs for the match were Kenton Ottley for Clearwater and Keeron Wilson for Sandys.Middle School Girls FinalSandys Secondary Middle School 5Saltus Grammar School 0Deshae Darrell scored twice to lead Sandys to anj emphatic vitory.Dazhja Greaves scored the first goal from the penalty spot after a Saltus player was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box. Charmaine Lambe and Ember Butterfield added single strikes for the champions.Darrell collected the MVP trophy for the second year in a row while Danielle Foote was the MVP for Saltus.Primary School Boys FinalSomersfield Academy 1Paget Primary 0Somersfield’s first appearance in the school knockout finals ended on a good note after this hard fought victory.Neither team could break the deadlock in an entertaining and even first half.But Somersfield slowly gained the advantage in the second half and took a deserved lead through Nasje Brockington who calmly chipped the ball over Paget keeper Jaiden Manders.Manders’ was the Paget MVP. Elijah Lloyd was the Somersfield MVP.
