Bermuda Brazilian Football School under-12 team finished second in their group in the Dana Cup in Denmark with three wins and one loss.

The youngsters lost their match yesterday morning to FIL of Norway 7-1 and then won 7-1 against another Norway team, Boler.

“We have reached our first objective to make it into the last round of 16 in the A Finals group,” said coach Cal Blankendal as the team prepares to enter the knockout round today.

“Tomorrow will be tough but we have put Bermuda on the map in Denmark! We are also featured on the Dana Cup website.

“I’m very proud of the boys as international football is nothing like playing or coaching at home. Parents, you should be very proud of the boys.”

Rahzir Jones scored in the loss yesterday while Jones, Keasha Smith Jones, Reece Jones Jr, Erik Correia (2) and San-Tze Burgess were the scorers in the 7-1 victory.
