BBFS stage camp

The Bermuda Brazilian Football School (BBFS) kick off their sixth annual midterm Football and Life Skills camp in two weeks at the Goose Gosling Field.The event, themed ‘Bringing the Fun back into Football’, will run from October 28 to November 1.“This year our theme is ‘Bringing the fun back into Football’, and the BBFS recognises that each child develops at their own pace and according to their individual skill level,” said BBFS CEO Cal Blankendal.“The objective is to provide a creative and positive environment where each player is not afraid to make a mistake, is rewarded for creating goal scoring opportunities and their behaviour on and off the field.”Open to both male and female players, aged six to 16 and any skill level, children will be put through their paces from coaches with a wealth of knowledge of the game.Marvin Belboda, Cal Blankendal, Cymande Davis, Kennesha Nanette, Danvers Seymour Jr, Jermaine Smith, and Naquan Smith are coaches included in the camp.The head coaches will be assisted by youth member trainee coaches, to provide them with professional development skills and on field coaching education.“We are pleased to announce that Conyers Dill and Pearman Bermuda and Pediasure SideKicks are official partners have partnered with BBFS and we look forward to a productive and mutually beneficial relationship,” added Blankendal.
