BFA Academy to hold evaluation sessions
Bermuda Football Association National Academy will hold evaluation sessions for Under-12 boys and Under-14 girls in two weeks time.
The sessions will see players that have been selected by their respective clubs and schools put through their paces by the academy coaches.
Kicking off on October 28 and running the whole week at the BFA field and the National Sports Centre, players will compete for limited places within the respective squads.
“The BFNA strives to identify and develop our elite players in preparation for opportunities in colleges, prep schools and professional academies, while preparing our national teams for international competitions, “ said academy director Richard Todd.
There will be no cost for the training aspects of the camp.
Each player should wear white and bring football boots, shin guards, a water bottle and lunch.
Selected players for the boys team will be notified by November 4 and training will begin on Fridays.
Following the girls camp, players selected will begin weekly training sessions on Tuesdays from 5.30 to 7pm.
