Tuff Dogs 2

North Village 2

League leaders North Village got a point out of their match against fellow title hopefuls Tuff Dogs on Friday night.

Rams striker Ralph Bean jr opened the scoring in the first 15 minutes of the match and his side held the lead until the break.

Kevin Hurdle levelled matters early in the second half and then Lamaul Crofton put Dogs in the lead for the first time.

The points, however, would be shared after Mackie Crane scored a late equaliser.

Flanagan’s Onions 15

Valley FC 1

Gary McRoberts went on a scoring binge as he cracked home five goals in Onions’ thrashing of Valley FC.

Nathan Peskett and Paul Goodyear both scored twice while Chris Flynn, John Tully, Ben Readdy, Darren Thompson and Mark Dunlop all scored once. An own goal added to the tally.

Peter Sampson scored the lone goal for Valley, who have shipped in 27 goals in two games. Last week they lost 12-2 to the Rams.

Sean Evans grabbed a brace as champions Robin Hood took all three points in their match against Lobster Pot.

Helping Evans in the scoring department was Aaron Eversley.
