Warriors in stunning comeback

De Warriors recorded their first futsal win of the season, with a stunning 14-11 turnaround over PHC.

In the first half, PHC jumped out an 8-5 lead, but Warriors regrouped and led an impressive comeback. Aaron Spencer scored five goals for Warriors and PHC’s Rakeem Deshields was iunlucky to be on the losing side with six goals.

SCC also earned their first victory of the campaign, with a 7-6 win over Flanagan’s Onions II. Leo Burgess was their MVP, scoring two goals with Flanagan’s led by an impressive Nick Dunkle, who also scored twice.

League leaders C-Side were held to a 4-4 draw by a very disciplined Atletico CP. With the draw, the league is wide open. C-Side were led by Jaavaid Smith, who scored two goals and Atletico CP’s MVP was Jawonday Smith, who also netted twice.

The next round of games is today at the Bermuda College Gym starting at 6pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.
