FA Cup finalists Southampton Rangers thrashed bottom side Hamilton Parish 10-0 at Southampton Oval yesterday to keep their promotion hopes alive.

Marquel Tankard and Donte Brangman each scored a hat-trick to lead the goalfeast while Shannon Coddrington-Burchall netted twice in the home side’s emphatic triumph.

Nicholas Mello and Dekari Steede accounted for Rangers’s remaining tallies.

Parish played most of the match with ten-men after starting with nine.

Rangers remain two-points behind second placed Paget Lions with one match to play against leaders BAA, who have already secured one of the two promotion spots. Ireland Rangers came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Wolves at Malabar Field. Wolves led 2-0 at the break before the home side hit back through second-half tallies from Sekai Proctor and Jahnai Ratteray to claim a hard fought point.

St George’s Colts moved up to fourth after a convincing 7-2 triumph over Devonshire Colts at Wellington Oval on Saturday.

Jahron Dickinson led the charge for the home side with a hat-trick while Jelani Carlington added a brace.

Gregory Wade and David Signor were also on target for the east enders while Colts replied through Brendon O’Connor and Deszion Davis.
