Lewis plays part in FA Cup win

Amar Lewis came on a second-half substitute in Brightlingsea Regent's 4-3 win away to Cambridge City in the FA Cup qualifying first round yesterday.

The former Dandy Town midfielder replaced Matthew Baxter in the 75th minute, with the visiting side leading 3-2.

Lewis, 19, joined the Bostik League Premier Division side after impressing for Stowmarket Town in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division last season. He scored eight goals in 36 appearances for Stowmarket.

A former West Ham United Academy trialist, Lewis represented Bermuda Under-20s at the Concacaf Under-20 Championship in Costa Rica in February last year.
