PHC face Onions in youth final
The Bermuda Football Association Appleby Youth Knockout finals will be held today at the National Stadium.
The under-13 final starts 6pm where league leaders PHC Zebras will take on second place Next Generation Onions.
Next Generation Onions overcame BAA 3-1 in the semi-final with goals from Jannis Roberts, Enoch Joseph and Cole Summers. Kai Sampson scored for BAA.
PHC beat Warwick Bows 3-0 in the other semi-final with Dante Hayward, Cairo Lewis and Toran Place were on target for the league leaders.
Warwick Bows pipped PHC in the Under-15 League by a point. The two teams will square off at 8pm in the Under-15 Knockout final.
Bows will be looking to win their third trophy after claiming the Leonard Derosa Holder final in November after defeating Somerset Trojans.
PHC beat Somerset Trojans 4-2 on penalties in their semi-final after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time. K’tori Butterfield gave the Trojans a 1-0 lead before Marco Scott equalised for the Zebras.
The Bows defeated North Village 8-0 in their semi-final. Kymani McNeil led the Bows with three goals. Armand Foy scored twice with Shia Smith, Tai Cariah and Nathan Furbert all adding a goal each.
