Bermudian footballers from the ages of under-13 to under-19 were given the opportunity to impress a host of preparatory schools from the United States.A group of coaches and admissions personnel, led by Futbol Goals USA, visited schools in Bermuda last week, as well as casting their eye over a number of matches last weekend. There was also an informal presentation held at Berkeley Institute for all interested student athletes and parents to learn more about the preparatory boarding schools, including St Thomas More School, Connecticut, The Pennington School, New Jersey, The Rectory School, Connecticut, and Wilbraham and Monson Academy in Massachusetts.In addition, Global Education and Sports Partners Limited hosted their first football showcase on Sunday. It was an opportunity for boys and girls to display their talents and be assessed by the visiting coaches.
