Solihull’s promotion hopes ended by draw
Justin Donawa was an unused substitute as Solihull Moors saw their five-game winning streak end with a 1-1 draw away to lowly King’s Lynn Town yesterday in the Vanarama National League.
With it went any slim hope that Solihull had of forcing their way into the promotion play-off conversation.
King’s Lynn took the lead on the half-hour when Ross Barrows netted for the home team. Adam Rooney ensured a share of the points for eleventh-placed Solihull when he equalised in the 54th minute.
Solihull close out their season on Saturday with a home match against Eastleigh.
