Hamilton Parish and Boulevard both picked up crucial wins in the promotion race yesterday with victories over fourth and fifth place teams St David’s and Wolves in yesterday’s two First Division matches.

Parish, who were leading Young Men’s Social Club and Boulevard by eight points going into the match, picked up a seventh straight victory with a 3-1 win over St David’s at Lord’s, as Macquille Walker scored twice, one in each half

Deneche Hill, back from boarding school in the UK, added the second in the second half to make it three goals so far over the Christmas break.

Boulevard edged Wolves 2-1 in the other match to climb ahead of Social Club in the standings. Tyree Robinson scored the first goal for Boulevard in the first half after a Wolves defender lost possession.

Wolves, who missed several chances, equalised through Kyle Brangman before Zaire Burchall scored the winner late in the second half.

In today’s contests, BAA will be looking to leapfrog Boulevard when they face Paget at Goose Gosling, while Ireland Rangers will tackle Social Club at SCC with both matches starting at 7:00pm.
