Bermuda will face one of Honduras, Haiti, El Salvador or Suriname in the knockout stage of the Concacaf Men’s U-17 Championship.

Having booked their qualification as one of the four group winners, Bermuda will now await one of those four nations from group H after Concacaf announced the schedule for the World Cup qualifying competition, which is set to take place in Guatemala in February.

As well as Bermuda’s four potential opponents, the remaining 12 competing nations were drawn into their respective groups with Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and Curacao making up group E.

USA, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados were drawn in group F with Costa Rica, Jamaica, Cuba, Guadeloupe into group G.

After the group stage, the top three nations in each group will advance to the knockout stage, where they will meet the four 2022 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers group winners; Bermuda, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Puerto Rico.

The Round of 16 matches will take place on February 18 and 19, followed by the quarter-finals on February 21 and 22. The semi-finals take place two days later and the final will be held in Guatemala City on February 26.

All knockout stage matches will be played in a direct elimination format with the four semi-finalists qualifying for the Fifa Under-17 World Cup, in Peru in October.

In the 2019 Concacaf U-17 Championship, Mexico won its eighth title at this age level with a 2-1 extra time win over the United States in the Final.
