Dale Eve targets promotion push with new club Alvechurch

Dale Eve

Dale Eve has placed high expectations on himself and new club Alvechurch for next season.

The Bermuda goalkeeper hopes to see the Southern League Premier Division Central side gain promotion and is determined to do hold his end of the deal to help them achieve the objective.

“I want to get promotion under my belt, to finish as high as this club has finished so far,” Eve said in an interview posted on the club’s Twitter page.

“I just want get some decent results and have a good season.”

The 28-year-old has joined the Worcestershire club during the off season from Hereford, who play a tier above Alvechurch in the National League North.

As well as Hereford, Eve also featured for Bedford Town, Stourport Swifts and Hanley Town on dual-registration terms last season.

He came through the academies of Derby County and Stoke City, signing his first professional deal with the latter in 2012.

Eve has also had stints with Fleetwood Town, Forest Green Rovers, Ilkeston, Rushall Olympic and Spennymoor Town.

He has been capped 24 times by Bermuda and was a member of the national team that competed at the Concacaf Gold Cup in 2019 under former coach Kyle Lightbourne.
