Nahki Wells and Keziah Martin among the goals in England

All smiles: Nahki Wells celebrates his equaliser with Cameron Pring in the 1-1 draw with Hull City

Nahki Wells was on target to help Bristol City earn a point in a 1-1 draw away at Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship.

Ozan Tufan scored his fourth goal of the season to give Hull the lead after 17 minutes. Liam Delap, who had already proved dangerous down the right, beat Zak Vyner before picking out Tufan for an easy side-foot finish into the net.

Wells volleyed over from close range and had a header well blocked, while Joe Williams also sent a volley over the bar after the ball was deflected into his path.

The Bermudian striker thought he had equalised on the stroke of half-time but his effort was ruled out for offside after a delayed decision from the assistant referee.

He continued in the same vein after the break and had an overhead kick saved on the line before finally getting his just rewards, finding the net with a goal that stood on the hour mark after tapping in from close range at the far post after a cross from Jason Knight.

Scott Twine had a free-kick comfortably saved by Bristol City goalkeeper Max O'Leary, while Aaron Connolly was also denied in a one-on-one with the custodian. At the other end, debutant Taylor Gardner-Hickman's shot was blocked and deflected over in the final minute as both teams were forced to settle for a point.

Elsewhere, Keziah Martin was also among the goals as Boston United clinched a 2-0 victory over Warrington Town in Vanarama National League North.

In a thoroughly dominant display, Boston broke the deadlock through Kelsey Mooney's 36th minute opener, with Martin wrapping up the points in style after the interval, with a spectacular long range effort in the 66th minute.

Meanwhile, Reggie Lambe and Braintree Town were forced to settle for a share of the spoils in a goalless draw at home to Chippenham Town in the National League South, while there was disappointment for Zeiko Lewis and Sacramento Republic as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Orange County in the United Soccer League Championship.
