Rego falls at last

Bermuda tennis player Chris Rego lost in a third set tie break in the doubles final of the COPA Universidad Galoleo in Guatemala at the weekend.

Rego and his doubles partner Rodolfo Diaz, of Cuba, were beaten by Dominica's William Kirkman and Jose Olivares, 6-2, 6-7, 12-10.

The 13-year-old will be competing in Costa Rica this week as part of the next phase of the COTECC Junior Circuit.
