Bermuda secure top-three finish in St Lucia

Bermuda have finished in the top three at the ITF GSDF 12 and under age group to qualify for the Masters event in Mexico later this year.
Jerome Bradshaw’s team defeated Jamaica in yesterday’s semi-final in St Lucia, with Ben Jones beating John Chin 4-1, 5-4, and Trey Mallory losing to Denany Cain, 5-3, 5-3 to leave honours even after the singles games.
In the deciding doubles match, Jones and Mallory beat Chin and Cain 4-1, 5-3 to clinch the victory.
The next challenge for Bermuda is to qualify in first position.
They meet the Bahamas in the final match today to decide the No 1 and No 2 positions. Third and fourth positions will be decided between Jamaica and Curaçao.
