Today is the deadline for entry forms to be returned for registration for the KPMG Front Street Mile trials, which will take place next Friday at the National Sports Centre starting at 6pm.

Registration for the mile trials is available online at racedayworld.com, with the online registration deadline being on Thursday at 6pm.

All paper entries must be returned to Sportseller no later than 4.30pm today.

There will be competition in six categories: primary schools, middle schools and senior schools, open (18-39), masters (40-59) and seniors (60 and over).

The fastest 20 runners in each category to finish under eight minutes will earn their spot in the KPMG Front Street Mile, which is scheduled for January 20, the start of the Marathon Weekend.
