Butterfield Bermuda Championship continues Mastercard partnership

Lucas Herbert captured the last Butterfield Bemuda Championship title

The Butterfield Bermuda championship, which takes place at Port Royal Golf Course from October 27 to 30, will again partner with Mastercard to offer some fantastic opportunities for card holders during the PGA event.

Butterfield Mastercard holders will be entitled to discounts on general admission tickets, the chance to obtain honorary observer tickets and a shot at winning a Masterclass Priceless Experience to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida.

In addition, any Butterfield Mastercard holder who spends $100 or more during the event will receive a reusable water bottle.

Those customers in possession of a Butterfield Mastercard Black will gain exclusive access to the Butterfield private hospitality area on the 18th hole and the water taxi service operating from the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club to Port Royal.

Danielle Baiunco, Tournament Director of the Bermuda Championship, said: “Mastercard is a huge supporter of the PGA Tour and the game of golf and we are delighted to be working with them again for this year’s tournament in Bermuda.

“The presence of the Mastercard brand only adds to the experience we can offer the entire community, helping to ensure we build on our award-winning status as the Best of Bermuda: Spectator Sports Event. We thank them for their continued support.”

Mastercard’s involvement will ensure free charging devices are available every day at the event. There will also be a new Family Zone with a host of engaging activities, including a golf simulator experience for people of all ages to try.
