Blackburn wins two gold medals

Bermudian swimmer Lisa Blackburn picked up five top three finishes including two wins at the AM Age Group Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Blackburn won two gold medals in the girls' 200 metre backstroke with a time of 2 minutes 23.83 seconds and the girls' 100m breaststroke events with a time of 1:6.83 seconds.

She then picked up a silver medal in the girls' 200 individual medley with a time of 2:10:17 and added two bronze medals to her haul in the girls' 100m freestyle with a time of 53:31 and the girls 50m freestyle with a time of 25:24.

Kiera Aitken has broken the 800m freestyle Long Course Record while competing at the Circuit “V Trofeu CN Sabadell” meet in Spain.

Aitken set the new record during the girls' open 800m freestyle with a time of 9:35.38.
