The Fairmont Southampton is up for sale.

A spokesman for the Fairmont said that “a number of interested parties” had expressed an interest in the property.

He said: “It is public knowledge that Fairmont Southampton is up for sale.

“We are currently in discussions with one company. However, these discussions are a private matter.”

AccorHotels took over the parent firm of Fairmont Hotels, which owns the Fairmont Southampton, in 2015.
