Hamilton car park to close for cruise ship passenger use

No. 5 Car Park, Hamilton (Photograph supplied)

Visits from the Viking Orion cruise ship will affect access to a waterfront car park over the next few weeks, the City of Hamilton warned today.

A spokeswoman said the No. 5 car park on Front Street would be closed to vehicles on Friday and Saturday to allow passengers to board the ship.

The car park will also be closed between Thursdays and Saturdays for about six weeks starting from August 19 to allow for the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers.
