Hotel looks to expand restaurant after strong season

A Warwick hotel could soon add a new restaurant, according to a recent planning application.
The application, submitted by cTx Design Group on behalf of Clearwater Development Ltd, proposes an extension of the pool deck at the Azura Hotel, with a restaurant to be located below.
A spokesman for Azura said yesterday: “In response to very strong and successful hotel operations in 2022, Azura is contemplating expanding the existing restaurant to include a new indoor dining area overlooking the ocean.”
According to drawings included with the application, the new restaurant would include a bar, a prep kitchen, storage and seating for 32 guests with views overlooking South Shore.
