The developer behind a Warwick hotel project has requested planning permission to erect a new building to further expand its inventory.

According to planning documents, Atlantic Hotel Ltd has applied to build a four-storey hotel building on the Nautilus property at 88 South Road.

It would be erected immediately west of the original Nautilus structure and contain four three-bedroom units, while the construction project would also include a new parking area, plunge pools and a pergola.

Work to revamp the Nautilus property, located near Warwick’s South Shore, has been under way for some time.

Developer John Bush has said that the Nautilus will share amenities with the neighbouring Azura hotel, but the two are owned by separate entities.
